1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the BetterGrin mobile application or visiting the BetterGrin website (bettergrin.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

BetterGrin is a dental health companion that provides habit tracking tools, brushing timers, educational content, care reminders, and related features. BetterGrin is not a medical device and does not provide dental diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or medical advice.

3. Medical Disclaimer

BetterGrin is designed for educational and informational purposes only. The content, features, and recommendations in the app and on the website are not substitutes for professional dental care, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always seek the advice of a licensed dentist or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a dental condition. Never disregard professional dental advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or experienced in BetterGrin.

The health timeline messages, savings estimates, and risk assessments provided by BetterGrin are approximations based on general dental health research and should not be considered personalized medical advice.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

BetterGrin offers auto-renewable subscription plans through the Apple App Store. By purchasing a subscription:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple per their App Store refund policies.

5. User Content

Photos and data you create using BetterGrin remain your property. We do not claim ownership of any content you create in the app. As described in our Privacy Policy, your data is stored locally on your device.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse BetterGrin services. This includes but is not limited to:

• Attempting to reverse engineer the app or its features
• Using the service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfering with or disrupting the service
• Sharing subscription access with unauthorized users

7. Intellectual Property

BetterGrin, its logo, design, content, and features are the intellectual property of CORDOC LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our services without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

BetterGrin is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BetterGrin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service.

BetterGrin does not guarantee that the health information, savings estimates, or educational content in the app is complete, accurate, or up to date. Dental health outcomes vary by individual.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to BetterGrin at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app and canceling your subscription.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of BetterGrin after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of BetterGrin will be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
